South Ridge School was subjected to property damage discovered on October 23rd. The St. Louis County Sheriffs’ Department was called shortly before 1:00 pm on Wednesday, with three deputies brought in to investigate. The school was placed under two soft lockdowns, to be sure all students were accounted for. Students were not informed of what was going on behind the scenes until pictures of the broken window(see below) were being spread all over Snapchat and social media.

The next day, it was discovered that Faith Lutheran Church, a mere 3 miles from South Ridge, was vandalized in a similar fashion with up to $1,000 in damage. (Images below).

There is an investigation in progress, however, sheriffs speculate that a shotgun was used for both cases.
